It was going to be a lovely weekend so Mum had invited us down to Roadford lake to do some camping with her. 

Friday 20th June

After we had finished work on Friday we made our way to Okehampton to get some fish and chips for our 1st night. 

It was such a lovely evening with Lee, Mum, George and Dad all being there waiting for there fish and chips and beer ready for Lee to enjoy. Mum had also booked a fire so we all enjoyed that once the sun had gone down and I had know she was going to have one so i brought some marshmallows with me so we could all enjoy them toasted. 

George had work the next day so we got to borrow his tent and it’s only really a 1 man tent so was super cosy with it being so hot as well.

Saturday 21st June

We had very chilled morning with a nice walk with Lee, Mum and her dog Harry. In the evening we went to see Marie and her family too. 

Sunday 22nd June

It was time to come back to Exeter but we went via Lifton Strawberry Fields thinking it would be strawberry season but they just had a lovely field full of lavender instead.
